Dr Carla Toro
Position: Associate Professor | Deputy Pro Dean Research Warwick Medical

Extensive experience in research and teaching in neuroscience and mental health. Carla's current research includes leading the Warwick Pilot Mental Health Interventions (part of the Midlands Engine funded Mental Health and Productivity Pilot), co-investigator for the Warwick RECOVERS study and co-PI for the Digitising Clinical Research project funded by NIHR West Midlands CRN. Carla supervises five PhD projects funded by EPSRC and ORCHA Health and is also Deputy Director for the Warwick Centre for Mental Health and Wellbeing Research.

Dr Petra Hanson
Position: NIHR Clinical Lecturer in Diabetes and Endocrinology.
Institution: Warwick University and University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire.
Dr Hanson’s main research interests are in the field of obesity, type 1 and type 2 diabetes, medical education, digital health tools as well as mindfulness and its clinical application. She runs two clinical research studies assessing the clinical application of mindfulness among people with type 2 diabetes and with heart failure. She leads an innovative digital health project Gro Health W8Buddy in a specialist weight management service at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire. She is a clinical supervisor for Titouan's PhD project exploring mental health and digital tools among people living with type 1 diabetes.

Titouan Cloarec

Passionate about driving positive change through research and innovation, Titouan is currently pursuing a PhD in Health Sciences at the University of Warwick. His research focuses on the intersection of Type 1 diabetes, digital health, and mental health, with a mission to develop effective solutions for managing this condition.
